My cake journey began during my first year of marriage when my husband asked me to make him a homemade birthday cake. I loved baking and cooking but there was one dessert I never cared for – cake. I even tried to persuade him to choose something else.

"I don’t even like cake. How about a brownie instead”?

The birthday boy got his wish, and I baked him a cake using a doctored box mix. That one cake changed everything.

I decided if I was going to make cakes, I wanted to create the kind of cake that would change someone’s mind about what cake could be. I became obsessed with flavor and the details that turn dessert into an experience.

For years I’ve tested recipes, refined techniques, and built every cake from scratch, saying goodbye to box cake mix forever. Every component has a purpose, and every bite is designed to be unforgettable.
