Design: Every Sweet Cheeks Cake is custom-made for your event. Inspiration photos are used as a design reference only and are not copied exactly. By placing an order, you acknowledge that Sweet Cheeks Cakes has creative discretion in the final design. Sweet Cheeks Cakes reserves the right to make minor design or structural adjustments when necessary to ensure the cake's stability, quality, and appearance.
Design Changes Design changes should be requested as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply and must be paid before changes are confirmed. Not all requested changes can be accommodated and approval is at the discretion of Sweet Cheeks Cakes.
Color & Design Variations: Because each cake is handmade, slight variations in color, texture, fresh flowers, fruit, and decorative details are normal and are not considered defects. Sweet Cheeks Cakes will make every effort to match the agreed design while maintaining the highest quality.
Payment & Cancellations: A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the order total is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due no later than 10 days before pickup. Orders not paid in full by this deadline will be canceled and the deposit forfeited. If you cancel your order, the deposit remains non-refundable. Any additional payments made may be refunded at the discretion of Sweet Cheeks Cakes.
Cottage Food & Allergy Notice: Sweet Cheeks Cakes operates under Idaho's Cottage Food Law. Products are prepared in a home kitchen that is not inspected by state or local health departments. All products are made using equipment that comes into contact with common allergens, including wheat (gluten), eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. Cross-contact cannot be prevented, and no product is guaranteed allergen-safe. Customers consume products at their own risk. The client is responsible for informing guests of this risk. Sweet Cheeks Cakes is not liable for allergic reactions, medical conditions, or injuries resulting from consumption.
Limited Liability: If Sweet Cheeks Cakes cannot fulfill an order due to severe weather, illness, injury, or other emergencies beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. A full or partial refund may be issued, and every reasonable effort will be made to help locate another qualified baker. Pickup Orders must be picked up at the agreed time. If pickup is missed, the cake will be placed in the designated pickup cooler on the front porch. Once placed there, Sweet Cheeks Cakes is no longer responsible for the cake's condition or quality.
Cake Care Responsibility: transfers upon pickup. Transport on a flat surface, keep away from heat and sunlight, refrigerate until needed, and allow 30–60 minutes at room temperature before serving. Some cakes contain internal dowels or supports that must be removed before serving. Cakes should never be smashed into someone's face due to risk of injury.
Photography: Sweet Cheeks Cakes reserves the right to photograph completed cakes and use the images for its website, social media, advertising, competitions, and other promotional materials unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Products & Pricing: Sweet Cheeks Cakes currently specializes in single-tier 8-inch round cakes with three layers of cake and two layers of filling. Final pricing depends on flavor, design complexity, and custom details.
